I've repurchased this at least 4 or 5 times. I'm Asian with sensitive combination skin, prone to closed comedones and hormonal breakouts. I've been clearing my skin by making subtle lifestyle changes (sleep, managing stress, low intensity exercise, being mindful of but not wholly cutting out sugar or dairy) as well as basic skincare, particularly cleansing and moisturizing. If this sounds like you, I'll say that so much of fixing my closed comedones has come down to avoiding products that exacerbate it. I can't handle very thick/occlusive creams, but light moisturizers applied frequently have been a gamechanger. This one in particularly smells so good yet so light, causes no irritation and actually helps with any redness after more inflammatory acne bouts. I will be a customer for life.

“MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE”
This is my absolute favorite serum! It’s such an all season serum and I love the scent of it. Super hydrating and not heavy at all!

“This product is so versatile!”
This product is so versatile! Skincare-wise, it definitely helped me with my redness. Makeup-wise, it helped me turn my Hauslab foundation into a dewy serum that applied more consistently on my skin! 10/10 recommend ❤️

The science, held honestly
We hold our clinical numbers until they’re independently signed off.
Secure Attachment is built around Cortinhib G™, our cortisol-targeting active — the only numbers we hold back are our own, until they’re verified on our formula.
Stress raises cortisol in the skin, and it measurably weakens the barrier (Choe SJ et al. (2018). Psychological stress deteriorates skin barrier function by activating the HPA axis in skin. Scientific Reports 8:6334. “Increased cortisol inhibits the differentiation of keratinocytes and decreases the expression of cytokines needed to maintain the barrier function.” — https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-018-24653-z) — the brain–skin connection is real and measurable (Roosterman D et al. (2006). Neuronal control of skin function: the skin as a neuroimmunoendocrine organ. Physiological Reviews 86:1309. “The skin 'talks' to the brain via primary afferents thereby revealing information about the status of peripherally derived pain, pruritus, and local inflammation.” — https://doi.org/10.1152/physrev.00026.2005), in a field growing every year (Liu X-X et al. (2023). Bibliometric study of adaptogens in dermatology: pharmacophylogeny, phytochemistry, and pharmacological mechanisms. Drug Design, Development and Therapy 17:341. “A regulatory mechanism similar to the central HPA axis exists in the skin.” — https://doi.org/10.2147/DDDT.S395256). When a bottle becomes a rhythm
A rhythm for skin that’s been holding it together.
The first relationship is with yourself (Dr. Jeshana Avent-Johnson, Clinical psychologist · selfmade advisor, Secure Attachment Briefing (T7): “The relationship with self is the first relationship, the longest relationship you're going to have is with yourself.”) — the longest one you’ll ever have.

We’re making space
We named it the Burnout Lounge.
Then we lived it.
January 2025, our first store was opening in LA. Then — the actual fires.
A year and a half later, we’re building it back — online. When the doors open it’s open to everyone, with a backroom to break the back of burnout.
